Every four (4) years, all existing or active REALTOR® members, including appraisers and attorneys, must complete a refresher training course on the Code of Ethics as a requirement of continued membership. This training must meet the learning objectives and time requirements established by the National Association of REALTORS® and be approved by the local association of the primary members.
The deadline is December 31, 2016. Sign up now to meet the requirement. Any Code of Ethics course that is offered at NSBAR also carries 3 hours of elective credit to be put towards your next license renewal whether you have a Managing Broker license or Broker license.
If you have already completed your Code of Ethics requirement elsewhere, please be sure to send the copy of your Certificate of Completion to email@example.com.
To schedule your in-class or online Code of Ethics education, go to https://secure00.nsbar.org/members/calendar/Default.aspx to find the schedule of approved classes.
Agents can check if they have completed their ethics requirement online at: https://secure00.nsbar.org/members/Portal/ Under their name you will see a section regarding NAR Ethics Requirement and it will state whether or not the requirement has been met.
