Please check the issues, committees, working groups or task forces that you have an interest in: Limit of two committees to serve on at a time and there will be term limits to assure everyone has the opportunity to serve and also to make sure there is a constant flow or new and fresh ideas!  You may serve on as many Forums as you wish!

 
This committee makes a concerted effort to review all contracts offered and assure newest changes are incorporated into contracts. Meets as needed. The Multi Board contract is a regional committee.  Staff Liaison: terry@nsbar.org 
 
 
Be a part of the NSBAR push to become a more culturally diverse association, as it strives for efficient cross-cultural understanding and communication. Help develop a diversity plan for the association to present to the Directors.  Select the Humanitarian of the Year. Staff Liaison: education@nsbar.org 
 
This group will focus on how the association can assist the member become a Now Agent. Focus is to keep the leadership informed and suggest action and review the Web page for suggestions. Meets from 1:00PM-2:30PM 4 times a year.  Staff Liaison:  administrator@nsbar.org 
 
This committee is responsible for improving and maintaining the health of the NSBAR affiliate program.

This committee meets solely through the email. A monthly list of prospective members will be reviewed. If there is a valid objection this committee will serve as the hearing panel for the appeal. Staff Liaison: accounting/membership@nsbar.org 
 
This committee is responsible for Code of Ethics enforcement by acting as a Grand Jury to select which complaints will be sent on to a hearing.  Meets as needed.  Must attend the IAR Professional Standards training in January each year to keep eligibility if selected to serve.  Must complete an application and test to be considered to serve. Application and exam must accompany the request to serve. Only those who complete the form will be considered for the committee. Staff Liason: terry@nsbar.org 
 
This committee is responsible for local government interaction on behalf of NSBAR. This group wears several hats including conducting the RPAC collection campaign. Strengthen bonds between the association and the communities. Will be called upon to attend fundraisers for politicians, interview candidates from time to time and to put together the local members attendance at the IAR Capital Conference in Springfield. Meets as needed in Northbrook. Staff Liaison: gad@nsbar.org
 
Representatives from this committee serve on Ethics and Arbitration hearings.  Must complete the IAR Professional Standards training in January to keep eligibility if selected to serve.  Must complete an application and test to be considered to serve.  Application and exam must accompany the request to serve.  Only those who complete the form will be considered for the committee. This committee will meet to develop a plan for leadership development - how do we get the best and brightest strategic thinkers as leaders for our association.  How do we find candidates and then train them.  Recommendations for the plan will go to the Directors.  How to establish a nominating committee who works through the year to scout new leaders for election.  Getting members involved in committees and Task Forces; recruiting new volunteers and consider a mentoring program with Past Leaders.

Have the group look over all our programs to see if there needs revision, different direction, new focus.  Should only take 2 or 3 meetings.  Help put the Mini convention together. Staff Liaison education@nsbar.org 

 
Purpose of the ads are for Public awareness of real estate.  We have $50,000 in the budget for advertising.  The best route for the money is radio.  Task force will help with which stations to advertise and what needs to be said.  Find members with marketing backgrounds to sit on the meetings. Provide international services, targets the international market, identifies the members’ interest, needs and set up informational meetings for the membership.

Statistics Committee  
Group of 6.  Monitor the current statistics loaded on the web page.  Are they addressing the needs of the members?  Monitor the outside contractors that are writing press releases and interpreting the data.  Should we survey sellers? Staff Liaison terry@nsbar.org
