Marilyn D. Glazer is the Designated Managing Broker/Owner of Marilyn D. Glazer, REALTOR®, and is President of Glazer Enterprises, Inc., a company specializing in real estate education and real estate expert-witness testimony.
She recently completed a term as Contracts and Forms Committee Chair of the North Shore Barrington Association of REALTORS® (NSBAR) and had served as President of the Association.
She is the current Bylaws Chair for the North Shore Network of Women’s Council of REALTORS (WCR).
She is a Federal Political Coordinator for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and as such is the contact to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (IL-9). She is also the State Legislative Contact for State Representative Denyse Stoneback.
She was honored as the Educator of the Year for both NAR and the Association of Illinois Real Estate Educators (AIREE). In addition to numerous other professional awards, in 2022 she received a life-time achievement award from NSBAR, and the NSBAR Board Room had previously been named for her.
She has served as a Commissioner on the Skokie Zoning Board of Appeals, as a Director of the Skokie Caucus Party, and as Chairman of Oakton College's Real Estate Advisory Committee, She is a past President of AIREE; and is a past President of Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim's Sisterhood. She is also a past president of Women in Real Estate and is a past REALTOR of the Year, Vice President, and Director of the Illinois Association of REALTORS.
She retired as the elected Supervisor of Niles Township Government, which serves 107,000 constituents. She served two terms on the Board of the Township Officials of Cook County, where she served as Treasurer. She is a past president of the Central Plaza Condominium Association and has been a resident of Skokie for over 40 years.
Glazer has a BA degree from Northeastern Illinois University, and a M.S.Ed.degree from Northern Illinois University.
