I hereby submit application for Affiliate membership in the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® I agree to abide by the Constitution, Bylaws, Policies, and Rules and Regulations of the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® currently in affect. I agree to abide by all provisions of the bylaws and other published regulations of the Association enforce and as enacted or amended from time to time. I understand membership brings certain privileges and obligations that require compliance. Membership is final only upon completion of all requirements and may be revoked should satisfaction of requirements not be completed within time frame established in the association’s bylaws. I consent that the Association, through its Membership Committee or otherwise, may, from the date of filing of the application and until final acceptance or rejection, invite and receive information and comment about me from any member or other person. I agree that any information and comment furnished to the Association by any person in response to such invitation shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged and not form a basis of any action for slander, libel defamation of character or other tort. I waive all claims against the Association, its officers, directors and employees arising out of any act in connection with this application. Affiliate Membership shall be real estate owners and other individuals or firms who, while not engaged in the real estate profession, have interests requiring information concerning real estate and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Association. I acknowledge and agree that Affiliate membership is for people who do NOT hold either a real estate or appraisal license, whose business is real estate related, such as mortgage brokers, banks, inspectors, home repair, attorneys, etc. Affiliates are NOT allowed MLS ACCESS, only those people holding REALTOR® membership may have access to MLS. I consent that the REALTOR® Association and all their subsidiaries, (MLS, Foundation, and others) may contact me at the specified address, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email address, or other means of communication available. This consent applies to changes in contact information that may be provided by me to the Association in the future. While this agreement recognizes that certain state and federal laws may place limits on communication; consent to this agreement authorizes communications to be sent to me as part of my membership. I further acknowledge and agree that invoices and statements for dues and fees are sent to me electronically and that the primary means of communication from the association and its subsidiaries is electronic. I hereby certify that the information furnished by me in this application is true and correct, and I agree that failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested, or any misstatement of fact, shall be grounds for revocation of my membership if granted. I further agree that I shall pay the fees and dues as from time to time established. I further acknowledge that once paid, all dues and fees are not refundable.
